We delete scenes from our books for a variety of reasons – sometimes they don’t move the story along, sometimes they are repetitive of other scenes, sometimes they’re too tangential to our heroine’s personal experiences, and sometimes the goal of the scene can be accomplished in a better way. Sometimes we’re experimenting or grappling for the right beginning or the perfect ending, and it takes us a few tries to get it right. Deleted scenes posted on this website have not gone through the detailed fact-checking conducted on the material in the final book. But we hope you enjoy them anyway!
